Remembrance Service 2024
The Community Council, in partnership with Gilfach Goch Community Association ensured that there was a Remembrance Service at the Cenotaph on Sunday 10 November.
Members of the churches of the community took part as did County Borough Councilor Aurfron Roberts and Chris Bryant MP. The service was well attended.
Community Councilor Andrew Draper laid a white poppy wreath which stands for remembrance of all victims of war, challenging militarism and a commitment to peace. Evanstown Community Councilors, Sheryl Wasley and Craig Batchelor Howells, laid a lamp of peace. Refreshments were provided at the pavilion following the service.

Skateboard Park
The long-awaited refurbishment of the skateboard park at Hendreforgan is complete and having good use. It was part funded by the Community Council.
